SharePoint server 2019 -- Sign-in - Select_the_credentials_you_want_to_use to logon

Hello,

I had to restore a web application from my farm with SharePoint server 2019, and since then, when anyone wants to access the site, although we are using Integrated Windows Authentication, a window with title "Sign In" appears, and asks to "Select the credentials you want to use to logon to this SharePoint site:" and gives two equal options "Windows Authentication":

As soon as one chooses one, it enters the site without any further problem.
Can anyone help me find what's wrong, please? Thanks.

Have you deployed other authentication in your farm before? Does this issue occur in other web application? Does the database of the restored web application experienced a migration process.

If only this restored application has this problem, follow the suggestions from Trevor and test. You can use the Test-SPContentDatabase to check the status of the database. And have a check on the authentication settings of this web application.

window "Select the credentials you want to use to logon to this SharePoint site" is shown when several authentication providers are configured for the same zone. Check which are configured for your web app default auth zone (Central administration > Manage web applications > select web app > authentication provider).

Also check the following thread which describes the same issue but in SP2010: “Select the credentials you want to use to logon to this SharePoint site” after Backup restore.

My sharepoint site only has one zone. See the screenshot below.
