Hi

I am planning to buy an App Service Certificate from Azure (standard pricing).

I've already purchased one before for naked domain http://biztalkers.in using for one subdomain. Can I purchase another one with same naked domain and use it for another subdomain ?

Regards
Gaurav

    Hi @Anonymous

Yes, you are able to purchase another one. Standard pricing certs only cover the domain it is purchased for so the cert for a naked domain biztalkers.in will not secure any subdomain such as www.biztalkers.in. If you want one cert that can secure both naked and any subdomains, you should get wild card certs.

Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have further questions

    Thanks,

    Grace

    Hi Grace

    Thank you for the information.

Since I had only 2 URLs to protect , I purchased 2 different Positive SSL certificates with Two Subject Alternative Names per certificate.

This worked for me. Wild Card was bit expensive for a PoC project implementation.

    Gaurav
