I'm trying to find out what this entry in the BCD does and google isn't helping :/

BcdLibraryIntegerList_AllowedInMemorySettings
Indicates whether or not an in-memory BCD setting passed between boot apps will trigger BitLocker recovery. This value should not be modified as it could trigger a BitLocker recovery action. The element data format is BcdIntegerElement.
Note This value is supported starting in Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012.

Actually the doc indicates:
BcdLibraryIntegerList_AllowedInMemorySettings = 0x17000077
But in "BCDEDIT /ENUM {current}" (for the current Windows loader), I find this entry listed:
allowedinmemorysettings 0x15000075
On another PC, I find:
allowedinmemorysettings 0x15000073
Note the different value, which is NOT the one documented (the documentation is just the type "allowedinmemorysettings", but not for the value assigned in BCDEDIT data of that type. The values given for this setting is UNDOCUMENTED.
Thank you, that satiates my curiosity. I don't think that variable is in the BCD if your motherboard doesn't support UEFI.
No problem. Based on the description, it sounds like a safety trigger to kick of Bitlocker that has to do with secure boot. Maybe the Windows Internals books has more information.
BTW - I found it by googling with bing.
