I have an individual whom I added to a team within MS Teams. When setting up a meeting, I invite this individual like everyone else via the 'Add Required Attendees' when scheduling the meeting. All other team members that are invited, show up in the meeting when they join. This individual though joins and is admitted to the meeting lobby as a guest. I am notified they are waiting in the lobby and let them join. Once admitted I can change them from a guest and make them an attendee and presenter. I/we can not figure out why this happens with this same person when conducting meetings through MS Teams.

    Hi,
this mean that this user was previously added by someone as a Guest in your M365 Tenant, normally to collaborate in a Team.

To access as a normal user, he could join the meeting with a Browser in Private Mode.

Let me know if this help you.
    Best.
    Luca

    Hi TaylorSatterwhite-3313!

I also agree with Luca, it seems this user was invited as a guest in your Microsoft Teams.
