Hi Everybody. Update KB5000802 is doing BSOD in some computers. We have stablished as other times, with "approved for removal", and the update in details it appears as Removable: Yes. Instead of that, in clients when searching updates, they detect it always, but do nothing. We have restarted computers, and the same. Always appears the update as detected, but appears one second 0%, and quit. Nothing in event viewer. Client is a Windows 10 20H2, and WSUS Server 3.0 version 6.3.9600.189634 installed over Windows Server 2012 R2. Thanks a lot.

PD.- In client Windows Update log, it appears that:

    Hi Again.

The issue could be generated by Microsoft retiring update?

It appears to be an issue by clients downloading the update. The updates are downloaded by clients directly from Microsoft, not from WSUS server.

    Hi Daniel Manzano Ruano,

Thanks for your posting on this forum.

We have stablished as other times, with "approved for removal", and the update in details it appears as Removable: Yes
You want to remove the update(KB5000802) and prevent the clients getting this updates when scan updates next time. Right?

We could filter out the approved updates and find this update. Then we could decline this update. Last we could run the Server Cleanup Wizard to clean up the update.

As to the BSOD, I found a related link. Please help to confirm whether the phenomenon is as the same as your's or not.

Hope the above will be helpful.

    Regards,
    Rita
