Can't receive notifications in iOS Azure app

No matter what I do I cannot receive notifications in the Azure app for iOS. I turn them on, no notifications from Azure alerts are ever received and when I go check the app settings the notification settings are turned back off. I turn the back on and the same thing happens again. The settings won’t stick. I have deleted and reinstalled the app, etc. and nothing fixes this.
