CPU Upgrade Error

Hello,

I am having multiple errors when installing a new cpu, information below:

OS: 2012R2 and it's a VM Host running Hyper-V

Old CPU: E5-2603-V3(Currently running dual 2603's)

New CPU: E5-2640V4(Running singular)

Once installed, the server boots faster due to the new CPU but shortly after in task manager, memory is shown at 90%-100% idle with no usage
After this occurs the server drives start flashing yellow and shutting down periodically one by one even though they are all at 95%-100% life as well as receiving the error message "Virtual Disk Degraded"

Total error message: Virtual disk degraded: Virtual Disk 0 (Virtual Disk0) Controller 0 (PERC H730 Adapter)

I apologize if there is lack of information and would like any help I can get.

    "Virtual Disk Degraded" means there are discrepancy between your RAID member disks.

    You'll want to use the diagnostics tools that come with RAID card to check it. Sometimes adding a new disk as spare member will correct this condition. Just follow the instructions suggested by your RAID tools.

    Much safer method of changing CPUs (especially hyper-v host) is to export VMs, save them off to removable media, clean install the OS (after CPU change), patch fully, add hyper-v role, import the virtual machines.
