Hello,

I have an issue with my Remote Desktop Gateway servers : I'm trying to add an AD group to a CAP or a RAP but it doesn't work.
I can browse my AD security groups from the policies, but when I select one of them, the fied just stays blank without any error message or log.
It only works with local groups...

There is no trafic being blocked by the firewall for the communications with the AD Servers.
RD Gateways are domain members and have been added to the RAS and IAS servers group.

Any idea please ?

edit :
I removed and re added the server to the domain => same issue
I removed and re added the RD Gateway role => same issue
If I create a policy on the NPS mmc, I can add AD groups. The issue is only on the RD Gateway manager

Thank you,
Regards,
David

I removed the server from the domain, delete the computer account and object linked to it on the domain controller and re add the server to the domain and now it works.

    Hi dear

It’s terrific. Sometimes the simplest ways are the best!

I noted that you have mentioned, “I can browse my AD security groups from the policies, but when I select one of them, the field just stays blank without any error message or log.” Typically you could view crash logs with Event Viewer to view the record of the event logs on your machine, etc. With Event Viewer, you can narrow down the causes of the crashes on your PC.

    Somehow you resolve it. Congratulations!
