Help with Function App connectivity to on-premise resources through VLAN.

I have a VLAN connected via a S2S VPN connection. On this VLAN is a VM that is successfully able to ping our local on-premises resources. We've recently added another subnet to this VLAN and dedicated that subnet to an App Service with Azure Functions. Those functions are unable to ping our local resources, but can ping the VM on the same VLAN. Based on all the documentation we've read, we've configured this exactly as described and are still unable to traverse our Virtual Network Gateway from the Function application. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

@Jordan Fulford If you are using Route based VPN on Azure and Policy based VPN on-premise, with out selecting the option- "PolicyBasedTrafficSelectors" in the portal, it will only let you connect one network on each side. Please try to enable this option as seen from the snapshot here and try connecting again. If that doe snot work, please share the network topology in more details such as networks on both sides, route tables and security group configs tc., to further troubleshoot this issue. Hope this helps.
