I trying to configure a GPO that will only allow administrators to install software in a domain connected Windows 10 workstation. I don't need to deploy software. I just need to stop domain users from installing software, but allow local and domain administrators permission to install software.

Hello @Jackie Butler ,
Thank you for posting here.
Based on my experience, usually, most softwares can be installed by only local Administrator or domain administrator.
Would you please tell us what software you are installing now?
And do you mean normal domain users can install it, is it right?
Should you have any question or concern, please feel free to let us know.
Best Regards,
Daisy Zhou
