Windows 10 20H2 Feature Update - Servicing - Error 0x87D00324

Question

I've setup Windows 10 Servicing in Config Manager for the 20H2 Feature Update and this has successfully installed on 1500 devices.

However, around 20 devices have failed with the following error:
Failed to install update(s) - 0x87D00324 - The application was not detected after installation completed.

I've checked these devices and they have successfully updated to 20H2 but the feature update isn't detecting this. Obviously with an application packaged in Config Manager I can modify the detection method, however, this is a Feature Update published by Microsoft and the detection cannot be modified.

I've tried reinstalling the Config Manager client and resetting the Software Distribution, but, the same issue occurs. I've had a look at the UpdatesHandler.log and UpdatesDeployment.log but I can't find any indication why it's not being detected.

Any suggestions?

Failed to install update(s) - 0x87D00324 - The application was not detected after installation completed.

Based on this description without context, it is difficult to determine the specific cause.Because this error may also appear during other operations. Therefore, we hope to have more specific log information.
