Currently I use VS Code for "Remote Development using SSH" as described here : https://code.visualstudio.com/docs/remote/ssh
Does VS2019 support the same ?

Essentially the only reason I use VS is to edit code running on my cpanel account - unless there is an easy work around this change has rendered VS useless to me.

    Hi @Laszlo Frank ,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

I’m afraid, VS 2019 doesn’t support the same feature(remote development by using SSH).

One related feature is "Remote debugging" but this may be not meet your requirements. Please check this document: Debug .NET Core on Linux using SSH by attaching to a process.

You can suggest this feature in our Developer Community and if you do suggest this feature, please share the link here, other forum members, include me, who are interested or needed this feature will go to vote for this thread.

Thanks for helping us make Visual Studio better.

    Best Regards,
    Tianyu

Seriously? The only thing stopping me from switching all of my dev work to visual studio is this one feature request.
