Getting "Reference to undeclared extern assembly 'netstandard'" error when i build Xamarin iOS app with Dotfuscation app on Mac machine

Hi,
I am getting following error
"Reference to undeclared extern assembly 'netstandard'" when I build Xamarin iOS app with Dotfuscation app on Mac machine.
If I build the same project on Windows machine it works fine.
We are using Preemptive dotfuscation product for obfuscation.
Has anyone encounter this error.
Please help if you have any pointers of how to resolve the error.
