Hello,

is it ok to place a Visual Studio 2019 UWP Solution on OneDrive? I want to code on it on my Desktop and on my Laptop computer. Can i trust that i will always have the newest Version of the project on both machines avaiable?

    Hello,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A!

Your question is related to OneDrive, which is not currently supported by the Q&A platform. For a complete list of support, please see: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/products (more to be added later on).

If you want to ask questions about OneDrive synchronization, you can get a more detailed in the OneDrive MSDN forum.

In addition, code management is usually carried out in Git or SVN. If the entire UWP project is placed on OneDrive, then the project will generate a large number of temporary files (bin and obj folders) during the debugging process, which is not conducive to rapid synchronization. So putting the complete project on OneDrive may not be the recommended practice.

    Thanks.

I think that as service like GitHub (https://github.com) fits better, you can have private and public repositories.
