MECM Package and SUP migration roles migration from On Pream to Azure

Question

We are currently trying to migrate our SCCM Primary site from On Pream to Azure, and i have been reading the official microsoft documentation to check our prerequisities etc https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/configmgr/core/support/azure-migration-tool

However, for the Management point and Software update point migration, will it transfer all my packages and updates to the new site? Or something we have to migrate manually with the inside tools, im trying to get an honest time frame considering all the factors and i think this is a big one. Thank you very much again!!

@Miguel Angel Thank you for reaching out to us - I apologize for the delayed response!

The tool itself doesn’t handle the migration of “objects”. There are probably a couple of different approaches as well as the setup of the infra. It may be good to post a question to https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/topics/mem-cm-updates.html regarding real world experiences/best practices on moving CM from on-prem to Azure. Again, there probably isn’t one turnkey solution/approach but experts/community members on that forum will have worked with customers on making the move and can share experiences, including timeframes, etc.
