Hi,

I'm currently migrating SQL Server 2012 to 2019. On reporting services, after I open a SSRS solution and trying to preview a report, I'm getting the following error:

Details: Could not load file or assembly 'System.Xml, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

Any idea on what might be causing this issue and how to solve it?

Thank you

Fixed it. I needed to install .Net 3.5 which includes 2.0. I had to go to Turn Windows features on or off and specificy the SxS directory of the OS, after install it, the error was gone. Probably a more precise error message would be great :-)
