I agree with ChrisHansen. This is the most annoying thing ever. Please show a way to fix this besides turning off "Capitalize First Letter of Sentences". There is absolutely no need to have the first letter be capitalized after you paste something into an email.
Outlook capitalizes first letter after pasting text.
Outlook has started auto capitalizing the first letter after any text is pasted. It never used to do this and it's very annoying.
Let me give you an example where I start typing, paste the word "is", and then continue typing:
This is An example.
As you can see, after pasting "is" the next letter was capitalized. This happens every time I paste into Outlook. How do I stop it?

2022-01-04T11:16:58.873+00:00 Was this ever addressed by Microsoft (other than the disabling of "Capitalize first letter of sentences")? This occurs with me as well. My company uses MS Office 365. At one time in the past, this worked as it should, ie, it did not capitalize the word immediately after pasting. At some point this past year, it began to do this. Very annoying and like others, I kind of like the "Capitalize first letter of sentences" functionality.

2021-05-07T05:49:39.933+00:00 Hi @Chris Hansen ,
What's the version of Outlook (File>Office account>About Outlook), please first ensure that you have updated to the latest version.
Based on my tests on Outlook 365 Version 2104 (Build 13929.20296), it could work normally like below, which seems to I couldn't reproduce your issue and it may be related to your client itself.
So did other office client(such as Word) could work normally when you paste and type text? And are there any differences if you paste the text via "keep text only" ?
Considering it occur only recently, have you performed any specific operations before(such as install any programs or add-ins)?
In order to avoid the interference of add-ins, it's suggested to restart your Outlook in safe mode to check if the issue has any difference(Windows + R> type "Outlook.exe /safe"> enter).
Also, based on my research, I found some threads that mentioned it's a workaround to turn off the "Capitalize First Letter of Sentences", if you don't need this feature, it's suggested to uncheck this option for your normal use ( File>options>Mail>Compose messages>Spelling and Autocorrect…>Proofing>AutoCorrect Options> uncheck "Capitalize First Letter of Sentences ".
If your issue has any update, please feel free to post back.

2021-11-10T12:32:45.51+00:00 I confirm turning off "Capitalize First Letter of Sentences" works but this is a very poor turnaround...
This really needs to be fixed.
