Are we permitted to use Ribbons in external applications like Qt?

I would love to have Ribbons incorporation into Qt so that Ribbons can be used by a wide variety of developers. What is the current policy regarding Ribbons use by third party developers?

    As far as I am concerned, Windows Ribbon Framework Minimum Requirements shows that it‘s impossible to incorporate Windows Ribbon Framework into Qt. You’d better use widget supported by Qt.
