WSUS(Windows Server 2019) - Cleanup - fails every time 'Unused updates and update revisions' is selected.

I'm experiencing the above - a classic. I once managed to download a SQL script that actually solved the problem. For some reason there was fields with negative values like '-1' in some table that the WSUS server cleanup wizard couldn't handle.

I simply cannot remember where I got it from last time :-)

Is there someone in here who could provide that script or a link?

Thanks in advance.

What maintenance are you currently performing? Server Cleanup Wizard (SCW), declining superseded updates, running the SQL Indexing script, etc.?

There's not one 'script' that will fix it all as each part of the maintenance requires something different.

Thanks for your posting on Q&A.

Here is a related link for your reference. Please follow the link to maintenance the WSUS server first.

Hope the above will be helpful.

Thanks for your time and wish you have a nice day :)

    Hi Rita :-)

    Thanks for your quick reply.

I'd been through this guide allready without any success. Again what I neeed is this particular SQL that can clean up the way I mentioned.

It's a commonly known/experienced issue I believe. Except that I'm not able to findt that SQL anymore.

    Best Regards

    Hi Adam,

Thanks for your reply. I'm doing the SCW first step. Rest of them works just fine. Please look my last correspondance with Rita.
