Windows 10 Update and Activation

101245-csblog-010621.pdf101302-csblog-010621.pdfLast year in April or May I encountered Windows Update problem and noted that there were some components missing or corrupted through DSIM and SFC SCAN. Microsoft technical team was conducting repair works but not perfectly resolved even Feature update to Windows 10, version 21H1 successfully installed on ‎07/‎03/‎2021 as stated in Update history.

In last April, I faced another problem Windows Activation in the course of repair works. At the right bottom of the desktop, I was asked to go to Settings and to activate Windows. I opened Accounts> Your Info and saw a red line "You need to activate Windows before you can personalize your PC." I press "Activate Windows now." but the Activation row still leaves blank. Then, I selected Troubleshoot, Troubleshooting has completed with a message "We can't activate your copy of Windows." I have sent many feedback, but no improvement till now. Please help to overcome this activation issue ASAP.

At Start, right click Windows PowerShell (Admin) and opened it. I typed DISM CheckHealth command, the component store is repairable. The operation completed successfully. Then, I typed DISM ScanHealth command, halted at 4.9%, Error:3017 with a message "The requested operation failed. A system reboot is required to roll back changes made. "

From CSB log, 2021-06-01 11:23:27, Info CBS Summary: Operation: Detect only; Operation result: 0x80070bc9; Last Successful Step: CBS store detection completes. Total Detected Corruption: 8; CBS Manifest Corruption: 3: CBS Metadata Corruption: 5. How long do you expect to restore Windows Update into normal?

    Have you ever activated Windows? If so, you could try to activate your Windows by Phone.
    To activate your Win 10 by phone, follow these steps:

    Windows logo key + R -> Type ‘Slui 4’ into the Run box -> Enter
    Select your Country/Region from the list -> Next
    You will be given a toll-free phone number -> Use this number to get your confirmation ID -> Activate

    If your Windows 10 never activated, you need to buy a valid license.
    If your Windows 10 is pre-installed by OEM, contact manufacturer support for help.

    About Windows update issue, manually reset windows update components:
    Right click on the start button and select Powershell (admin) or Command Prompt (admin)
    Write the next hit enter after each line.

    net stop wuauserv
    net stop cryptSvc
    net stop bits
    net stop msiserver
    Ren C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old
    Ren C:\Windows\System32\catroot2 Catroot2.old
    net start wuauserv
    net start cryptSvc
    net start bits
    net start msiserver

    After completed, restart computer and check for updates again.

    @Teemo Tang I have just tried "Windows logo key + R -> Type ‘Slui 4’ into the Run box -> Enter", no screen could be seen.
