Hello, I'm trying to sign in my account trough microsoft whiteboard to acces my school notes, tho every time i try to log in it gives me this big error(blanked out beginning of email): how can i solve this? i've already tryed clearing the cookies and http://aka.ms/f_8AGsoD3v and http://aka.ms/f_8AGsoD3v-1 didn't help me thank you in advance

Hi, To use the Windows 10 or iOS apps , you must sign in with a Microsoft account (Outlook, Hotmail, Live, Xbox, etc.) or an Office 365 account (personal, work, or school). To use the web app , you must sign in with a work or school Office 365 account (after your administrator has enabled the service). You need to work with your administrator to add your live ID to the tenant and enable the service. Or as an alternative, try the Windows 10 or iOS app to log in using your Live ID.

I'm not sure if my microsoft account on my computer is a work, school or private account. Are you saying that whatever it is, if I send an invite link to someone, they must log in with a work or school office 365, as opposed to any other kind of microsoft account? What's the logic behind this?

Perhaps this answer could include "I've forwarded this to the tech team to improve the error message"...
If I have access to the windows app with my personal account, I think it's reasonable to assume that I would with the web app - and if it's not the case, then the message should be clear enough for me to decide to search for an alternative solution.

But why are we allowed to login into iOS app with a personal account but while using android app, Microsoft forbids us to login with a personal account ?

Will we able to login into android app with a personal account in near future ?
