Azure monitor metric alerts trigger fails when created from ADF ->monitor -> alerts & metrics

When a metric alert on a azure adf pipeline is created from adf->monitor->alerts & mertics navigation, the alert trigger fails,
when similar alert is created with no change at all is created but from Monitor -> create new alert , the trigger fires and the alert is received via email(setup in action group). Can someone help me with this if i am missing something here.

    Hi Pradeep,

    This issue is resolved ,it was an issue with FailureType dimension under alert conditions.
    i was selecting a specific failureType and the alert condition was not matching, fixed it by selecting '*' all failureType option.

    Make sure you have configured the alert correctly. Could you please cross check if the fields such as "alert criteria" are entered correctly.

    I am able to successfully configured alerts on supported metrics in Data Factory.

    Select Monitor > Alerts & metrics on the Data Factory monitoring page to get started.

    And successfully able to receive the alert notification for the same.

    Will you help me to understand?

    When I am debugging a pipeline, is there a reason why my alerts doesn't get trigger and no metrics are showing up?

    I took my time to create an alert for each criteria, plus I created metrics for each criteria.

    I even took the time to create pipelines that will fail and succeed. However, whatever I do, I don't see any reaction from the alerts or the metrics.

    How can I test in Data Factory so I can see the alert rules and metrics be triggered?

    Alerts are not triggered on debug mode. when pipeline is run by triggers alerts are shooting.
