Outlook - automatically open add-in side pane when object opened

To provide our in-house userbase with better expirience we would like to open our Addin when new meeting is being composed.
This is importnant feature, missing in Outlook.

The feature was already requested and should be in backlog

Same feature is already implemented for some products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Workaround with Pinnable Taskpane can not be used because of it is not suppoerted for Appointments / Meetings

Is there any update on the feature, or was it also deleted from backlog with deletion of UserVoice?
