bginfo stops showing after refreshing it

We use bginfo on all windows server OS since years. On Windows 2012 (not R2) the refreshing bginfo information with the following command:
"C:\Program Files\BgInfo\bginfo.exe" "C:\Program Files\BgInfo\w2012.bgi" /Timer:0 /NOLICPROMPT
does not refresh the desktop anymore but makes the bginfo info disappear and only the blue windows background stays.
it seems that something has changed, maybe a security patch on windows 2012. all other os still work flawlessly with the shown method.
also on the screenshot u can see that the bginfo.bmp isnt saved anymore in the background folder but in a subfolder with a number.
maybe someone else has the same problem? again its just windows 2012, R2 works with the same settings :-(
