Hi All,

I have requirement of adding a new subscription to our enterprise Azure portal since we are going to configure Azure sentinel in a separate subscription for governance and billing purpose.

below are the steps which I have followed but there is no luck yet.

  • login to EA portal from Account administrates
  • Go to Subscriptions and add subscription (this has redirected me to Azure portal again)
  • Add a subscription from subscription section in Azure portal. I have selected Enterprise agreement.
  • I have given requested details (Name, Permission account etc.) and Select Create

even though it says successful, there is no subscription appeared in my Azure portal yet.

Appreciate the help!

Thanks,
Dilan

    Hi @Dilan Nanayakkara ,

Thank you for the post! Make sure that you have the Account Owner role on the Enterprise Agreement enrollment and that you have a credit card on file. Those are the two things I can think of offhand that could impact your ability to add a new subscription.

You can follow the "Create an additional subscription" guide here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cost-management-billing/manage/create-subscription

It is also free to speak with the Billing support team or create a support request with them if you are still having issues. https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/support/options/
