Hi @PaulaCasey-0821,
I recommend you to contact your tenant's support.
A person who has administrator rights can change the owner of the teams by using Microsoft Teams admin center.
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
When I created the team, I was asked if I wanted to create an administrator and I said yes. Then one of the individuals who I added to the team, I must have accidently made as owner and myself as member. The individuals who is the owner, has not been able to access the team. And I cannot figure out how to get in as the administrator (who I think is really the owner.). We need help to get back into the primary team.

Hi PaulaCasey-0821!
You can use Azure Active Directory to designate administrators who need different levels of access for managing Microsoft
Teams.
For more details about how to assign administrator roles to users, you can refer to:

Jimmy, thank you for your reply, however I have tried to do this. And because I can't remember the admin codes, it will not allow me to change anything. I was mistakenly assigned as a Member and not an Owner.
