Will a desktop with Windows 10 Home work with SBS 2011 Essentials?

If so can I restrict a user from accessing shared folders? I was told I needed Window 10 Pro to do this. I don't see how the windows version on a client computer should matter.

    hi,

Will a desktop with Windows 10 Home work with SBS 2011 Essentials?
1 Windows 10 Home version, this system does not support domain join function. If you still connect it to WSE using Connector.exe, it will skip domain join process. However, after successfully connection, you still need to logon Windows 10 home using local account because it is still in Workgroup.

2If so can I restrict a user from accessing shared folders?
If your computer and essentials server in the same network ,you can try to use ad account to access shared folders. You need to enter domain\username and domain user password in the popup window.
