Exchange 2010 to Exchange Online public folder migration fails

Dear

We want to migrate non mail-enabled public folders to Exchange Online now all our mailboxes are successfully migrated. I followed the Microsoft guide and used the provided scripts in order to migrate these public folders. But when i started the migrationbatch it 'hangs' at 10 percent at stage CreatingFolderHierarchy. After checking the logs i see it throws the following error:

So it keeps retrying but never continues because of the MapiExceptionNetworkError error. I already performed the Outlook Anywhere connectivity test and this succeeded without a problem. Also my service account that i'm using on the migration endpoint and sourceMailboxLegacyDN is member of the 'public folder administrators' group. The mailbox of this account is not migrated to Office 365. Hybrid Azure AD sync is also not enabled. As i said before, our mailbox migrations did not give us any problems.

I already extensively searched the web for a solution but cannot find someone who ran into the same problem. Hopefully someone can help me.

    Have you tried stopping the batch migration and restarting it? or recreating it? Sometimes it just needs a kick...

    Agree with Andy, we could try deleting the migration batch, then recreating it as a workaround.
    In addition, it takes hours to create folder hierarchy like this thread mentioned: Mailbox migration to Office 365, CreatingFolderHierarchy taking forever

    Yes i did. I removed the batch and the migration endpoint and recreated them but still the same result.
    I let the batch run through the night and its failed now so it stopped retrying. The last error is TargetDatabaseExcludedFromProvisioningPermanentException.
