Abusive traffic originating from Azure

Each night for 2-3 hours, our service (AWS) is flooded with HTTP traffic from an Azure deployment, between 500-1000 requests/second until our service fails.

I've submitted details to Azure, but the response is that they only provide the platform and have no control over what their users do.

"Customers, not Microsoft, control what applications are deployed on their account."

To me, this seems irresponsible. This traffic is denial of service in behavior, and originating from an MS platform, and should ultimately be their responsibility.

Is there a process to escalate this?

@Half_Duplex Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

Were you able to report the issue on this website? - https://msrc.microsoft.com/report/abuse

If not, please let me know how/where you reached out to Azure? Please include any support request number if available.

Also to further understand the issue, can you please provide more details regarding your deployment such as which service/s do you have deployed on Azure that is sending this traffic? What is the source IP/s for the same etc.? Thank you!
