Power BI and Azure Table Storage

I have a question about how to best integrate Power BI with Azure Table Storage to visualize data and perform analytics in Power BI. I am directly connecting Power BI to Azure Table Storage but this is the issue I am facing:
--> There is no way to opt for 'Import' connection which makes it live connection by default. So whenever I make even a slight change in 'Edit Queries' it takes forever to refresh data even for 4-5GB data.

Is there anyway to avoid this? This slows down the process immensely. Is there any middle layer that you would suggest?

Azure Table Storage

Power Bi is not currently supported here on QnA. They're actively answering questions in dedicated forums here.

hello, one of the option is to implement middle layer by yourself via Azure function and then consume it in PowerBI: Updating a #PowerBI dataset using Microsoft #Flow, #Azure Functions and a #Flic button.
