When I do the security check, found that the binary Microsoft-WindowsAPICodePack.dll v1.1.4.0 has no digital signature, is it correct according to Microsoft rules? Does anyone can give a positive answer?

I can't find the security check in Visual Studio. Can you provide more detailed information? Or you can contact the owner of this package for help.

Yes, it is Microsoft-WindowsAPICodePack.dll, our product depends on this binary, but our security team found that this binary did not have the digital signature, and we found the Publisher and Company are Microsoft Corporation after security scan, so I just submitted a question on Microsoft forum. But if the owner is not Microsoft, do you know who is the owner? Thanks a lot.

Windows API Code Pack is an Open Source from Microsoft in C# and VB
and you can compile the DLL yourself from the sources :
https://github.com/contre/Windows-API-Code-Pack-1.1/tree/master/source/WindowsAPICodePack
The first versions were published by Microsoft in "MSDN Code Gallery" and the "Windows 7 Training Kit for Developers"

Yes, as anyone can re-build it himself or even use directly some parts of the sources without building the whole DLL
