Outlook not sending mail generated from Dynamics GP

Our Finance team is using GP 2018 ( version 18.3.1245 (2020)) and after the batch process in user 's machine it is supposed to send invoice as email attachment from outlook . As the process payment is done we can see an email is created initially outbox and then visible in sent items. But in few secs we will get a undeliverable mail from system administrator.
Before the mail generation we need to accept a dialog box which says --- A program is trying to access e-mail address information stored in Outlook. If this is unexpected, click Deny and verify your antivirus software is up-to-date. A program is trying to send an e-mail message on your behalf. If this is unexpected, click Deny and verify your antivirus software is up-to-date." it will proceed with email generation only if we accept
There are no application or system events.
Delivery fails for internal recipients also . My initial thoughts are it is related to some security issue where outlook client flags the mail as a spam and it does not even reach exchange.
OS of machine is win 10 20h2 . office version is Microsoft 365 MSO (16.0.14228.20216) 32-bit
any help will be appreciated.
