Backups for Blob storage as NFS?

Question

Hello all,
The questing is as follows. I have a Blob storage account that I want to mount as NFS 3.0. I see there is no option for blob(file) backups like there is when mounting with blobfuse(when it's not hierarchical namespaces). So what are my options when it comes to backups? Do I make another machine and store files as backups with scripts or is there any other built in function like versioning, soft delete that works on NFS 3.0 that I don't know about?

Unfortunately those features are not currently supported with NFS 3.0 for Blobs. You can view a list of the unsupported features here. You would need to manually copy the data using scripts. NFS 3.0 for Blobs does currently support ZRS. Zone-redundant storage (ZRS) copies your data synchronously across three Azure availability zones in the primary region.
