@AmanpreetSingh-MSFT The mounted volume contains a snapshot directory named ~snapshot (in SMB clients) that is accessible to the client. When a snapshot is taken by you manually or by snapshot policy, the snapshot will be stored under the directory ~snapshot.
The ~snapshot was supposed to be visible as long as you don’t enable “Hide Snapshot Path”. But as a part of CA shares feature, snapshot path (~snapshot) will be hidden, which is by design and caused that there is no previous versions visible under the file/folder’s Properties.
The snapshot path (~snapshot) is hidden but it is still browsable. You can access it by typing \CAENETAPP-8b7f.st.com\WVDPROFILES\~snapshot, this is where the snapshots were stored.
The solution to restore a file/folder:
- Navigate to\CAENETAPP-8b7f.st.com\WVDPROFILES\~snapshot
- Select the snapshot (previous version) you would like to restore the file/folder to.
- Copy the file/folder you would like to restore.
- Paste it in the target directory.
