Cannot register work account MFA on new phone

I just bought a Samsung Z Flip 3 and was trying to switch my work account's MFA authenticator to my new phone from my Samsung S9+ but when I scan the QR code, it doesn't go through and just keeps loading then errors out. But if I try to rescan the QR code on my S9+, the authenticator is setup fine.

I had a chat with my office IT admins and they couldn't help. Not sure why this would only work in my old phone but not in my new phone. Tried both the QR code and manually entering it in. Are there any ways around this?

    Hi Jack

    I am not sure, if you setting the MFA for 1st time, if you have already set up your MFA in the previous Phone, can you kindly Delete the MFA and re-register the MFA again. The below article helps you.
