MigrationTransientException: The request has been paused temporarily because a database has failed over.

We are migrating from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365. We have created a migration batch and it worked well for few days. However, now it has stopped functioning. We still have a bulk of emails that are yet to be migrated. It has been more than a week now that it is not working. The error that we get is as below:

Error: MigrationTransientException: The request has been paused temporarily because a database has failed over. The Microsoft Exchange Mailbox Replication service will attempt to continue processing the request when capacity becomes available on the new server hosting the database. --> The request has been paused temporarily because a database has failed over. The Microsoft Exchange Mailbox Replication service will attempt to continue processing the request when capacity becomes available on the new server hosting the database.

The batch auto resumes several times but returns the above message always. Please help us resolve the problem.

    Hi @Samir Tapde ,

    We have created a migration batch and it worked well for few days. However, now it has stopped functioning.

    Have you made any changes in your environment right before the issue occurred? Also in case the issue is related to any settings on the firewall, it's suggested to temporarily disable firewall and see if there would be any improvement.

    If the error persists, you may consider deleting the problematic migration batch and create a new one for several affected mailboxes and check the result.
