Virtual Machine froze at "Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete to unlock" page

Hi! I need any help that I can get..

After starting my Hyper-V VM, I am brought to this page. However, I am unable to execute ctl+alt+delete on the VM.

  1. I am using my laptop's keyboard and not an external keyboard so it shouldn't be a problem.
  2. When I hover over the keyboard and mouse icons on the bottom right, the keyboard shows "Keyboard input captured", while the mouse shows "Mouse input not captured"
  3. I saw a few solutions out there regarding the input settings, but since I am unable to even log in to the VM, I cannot test those solutions.

Any idea what the cause could be? Any solutions? Thanks in advance!
