Provisioning Layer Initialization failed: Domain controller is overloaded

I am trying to edit the display name of an existing distribution list and getting "Provisioning Layer Initialization failed: Domain controller is overloaded" Error.

    Hi @Xzsssss

    Thanks for the response, I tried to change it using ECP and We are using exchange server 2013.
    And this issue is no longer exists and resolved itself.

    But I would love to understand about it more in-depth.
    Kindly assist.

    Hi @Vinay Bhatia ,

    Where did you change this? ECP or the outlook client?
    And what's the version of your Exchange server? Did you get other errors?

    It's not like a normal Exchange error message, I gonna do some research about it.
