Azure migrate with multiple projects

Hi,

I'm planning on using two different contractors to help with a migration project. If contractor A creates a project(A) can I have the second contractor(B) create a second project(B) or should the first project be deleted? Both projects will be using the same scope for the migration. Just looking to see how the contractors use the data from there respective projects and how they come up with there methodology.

Thanks,
D

@D R While this is not a suggest approach, there should not be any issue while having two concurrent projects on same set up. When there are two projects, then there is need to create two appliances as one appliance can only be registered with one project.

    Hi @D R ,
it's possible to create more than one Azure Migrate project.

Click on (hange) after you created the first project:

Click on click here to create an additional project:

    • don't worry about the "(2ndAZMigrateProject)" in the name of the project. It's just the name of the Resource Group the 2 projects are created in for demo/test.
