How can I get sound during RDP sessions?

I need help. I've been through the ringer with trying to figure this out. When I remote into a server and the rdp audio settings is on "play from remote device" I get sound coming from the server. I installed a sound card for this to happen. However, when I select "play from this computer" and remote into the server, the sound is muted and under volume it says "no audio devices are installed". I made sure Windows Audio is running, I've enabled the sound redirection in group policy, and made sure systems are up to date. The issue is within the rdp sessions. I say this because I've gotten answers telling me it's the local device's audio drivers. All audio in the scenario are up to latest with the latest drivers, as Microsoft would say. Anyone have any answers? The server is Windows 2016 Standard and the device im remoting in from run windows 10 pro.133178-micro.png133242-micro2.png133243-micro3.png133252-micro4.png133244-micro5.png
