Hi, I was trying out the Azure DDOS in PAYG subscription and created DDOS for few minutes and later deleted but It incurred charges.

Surprisingly I did not received budget alert which I had setup for forecasted amount.

Is it possible to request waive off please. I have already created support request.

    Hi @rswarnka ,

    this is weird.

Based on your screenshot the Evaluated spend is 0 INR.

Here it looks look like this (Evaluated spend is 12 EUR, cost alert at 8 EUR):

And the cost alert was triggered with an email notification (delay between cost alert and receiving the email about 8 minutes).

Your best option is to create a support request, which you have already done, and figure this out with Azure Support.

    Hi @rswarnka ,

the charges are higher than the defined budget/cost alert?
It might me a delay between breaching the defined budget/cost alert and receiving the email notification.
Did you check if there is a Cost Alert in Azure Portal?

    Hi @Andreas Baumgarten

Thanks, Yes the charges did crossed threshold defined for the budget. Here are screenshots:

    >It might me a delay between breaching the defined budget/cost alert and receiving the email notification.

This is strange behaviour, AFAIK, (as a beginner) I assumed this to be near real time.

    >Did you check if there is a Cost Alert in Azure Portal?

I don't see anything in Cost Alert blade, but its in Budgets section.

    What should I do Pl.?

    Sure @Andreas Baumgarten Thanks!

I would be looking forward for team to investigate this.

Could you also, let me know if the Evaluated Spend fields is real-time calculation as well?

    Hi @rswarnka ,

    I found this meanwhile. This doesn't sound like real-time ;-) .
