What id of the machine will be changed if i replace my Azure VM size

Hi, i am having an azure vm and i wonder what will be changed if i pick new size for my vps

This option where i circle it is how i change my vps size, so what machine id of vm will be changed

it's window product id, or device id, or my windows license key or what else, thanks in advance

    @Angellia Apologies for the delay in response and all the inconvenience caused because of the issue.

    Adding to @Andreas Baumgarten point who has correctly pointed out that VM id won't change in this use case.

    In your use case only vCPUS, memory and other VM limits will be changed and from backend, VM will be hosted on another datacenter supporting that size

    So none of the ID which you have mentioned will change since these are something on Guest level and the mentioned changed are something on Host level so you don't need to worry about that part.

    Hi @TngNguyn-0617 ,

    as far as I know none of these ids will change (window product id, or device id, or my windows license key) if yo resize the VM size in Azure.
