Cannot log into Teams for Linux

My Teams for Linux app on Ubuntu Budgie 18.04 stopped working today (1/9/2020), as it logged me out unexpectedly, and I cannot log back in.

Receiving the following login error:

"We couldn't find an account with that username."

However, I can log in with the same email and credentials on Teams web/online.

    Does other account with the same condition have the problem?
    Do you use two-step verification all the time?
    What type is your account, like *.hotmail.com or outlook.com?
    According to your description, it seems related to the verification.
    I test my office 365 account with MFA. It’s no problem. Moreover, you can clear the client cache and have a try.

    Strangely, I was able to log in again after turning off two-step verification on the associated Microsoft account.
