    You can download Windows PC Health Check tool to determine your pC Hardware has minimum requirement to be upgraded for Windows 11.

    Windows 11 free upgrade is only for Windows 10 users.

    So this won't work for Windows 7. You've to first upgrade to Windows 10, and then check for Windows 11 eligibility using this PC Health Check app.

    According to the latest links it is not possible to upgrade from Windows 7 or 8 or 8.1 to Windows 11.

    There are two or three possible methods to install Windows 11:

    1) upgrade Windows 7 > Windows 10 > upgrade to Windows 11
    2) Clean install Windows 10 > upgrade to Windows 11
    3) Clean install Windows 11 (windows 11 is scheduled to be released October 5; this method has not yet been tested)

    Read the question. I just want to know if 11 will run on my equipment. I'm not going to start purchasing / upgrading until I am reasonable confident that it will actually run on my hardware. BTW, that's why upgrade test software was developed.
