MECM - auth inbox question

Planning upgrade to 2107, and the pre-req check reported backlogged inboxes. My auth\statesys.box\corrupted has a number of files in it. Some, within the last couple of days, others going a few months back, or more.

The main philosophy I've seen in my research is to backup the files elsewhere, and delete from any inbox, if the files are obviously not being processed, but wanted to verify on this one.

are you sure it is the corrupted folder that is blocking the upgrade? imo i would not expect it to block the upgrade for that folder.

    Hi, @Joe Heaton
Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

I think we need to troubleshoot exactly what is causing the backlog before upgrade.
Here is an article to introduce the inboxes and which logs to check when there is a backlog in them, for your issue, we may start from checking statesys.log for the details.
