A user had reported that 'KB5005565 failed to install'. The error code is 0x800f0845. How do we resolve this?

    Error 0x800f0845 occurs due to the corrupted system files, firstly find those files and overcome the issues using DIFM and SFC utilities. and the can happen also due to insufficient disc space, due to damaged disc drivers, corrupted Update Components.

    As a basic approach, first, try executing the Windows Update Troubleshooter using the below link. then run the update again.

    If the problem doesn't resolve then,

    In the search box on the taskbar, type Create a restore point and select it from the list of results.

    On the System Protection tab in System Properties, select Create.

    Type a description for the restore point, and then select Create > OK.

    Try to Repair Windows Image.

    When you use the DISM tool to repair an online or offline image, you can use the /Source argument with the /RestoreHealth argument to specify additional repair source locations to use to search for the required files. follow the below link,
