Have been backing up a Win 2019 on-prem Server to MARS since Jan 2020. Now would like to add a 2nd Win 2019 server to Azure MARS. Problems:

  1. Can't see my MARS Recovery Vault, even though backups are running every day.
  2. Can't add a new RS vault because I'm told my Azure subscription doesn't support MARS?? Nothing has changed in my subscription.
  3. Can't get support anywhere from Microsoft which is unbelievable since these are my server backups and MICROSOFT IS CHARGING ME FOR THESE BACKUPS EVERY MONTH!!!
  4. How do Microsoft customers get Microsoft support when they are using Azure MARS?

Thanks

@Greg T Sorry for the inconvenience caused!

    Please find the comments below:

    1. Can't see my MARS Recovery Vault, even though backups are running every day.
[My understanding] MARS Recovery Vault is not seen in the Azure portal. However, there are MARS backups running every day and you can see them in Azure backup MMC portal - Correct?
    2. Can't add a new RS vault because I'm told my Azure subscription doesn't support MARS?? Nothing has changed in my subscription.
There is no such restrictions/limitation from Microsoft Azure. Your subscription owner/Account Admin must have limited your access/priveleges
    3. Can't get support anywhere from Microsoft which is unbelievable since these are my server backups and MICROSOFT IS CHARGING ME FOR THESE BACKUPS EVERY MONTH!!!
I can help. Let me know if you need assistance registering the new Windows Server 2019 with MARS to Recovery Vault. Try registering the server using PowerShell - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/backup/backup-client-automation
    4. How do Microsoft customers get Microsoft support when they are using Azure MARS?
If your subscription has support plan - https://azure.microsoft.com/en-in/support/options/#support-plans you can raise a technical support request provided you've access to create a support ticket.

Are you able to login Azure portal and see your resources?
If not, you can try switching the directory - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-portal/set-preferences might help finding your resources.
