Hello, I just downloaded ms Office on my Mac for University. unfortunately Im not allowed to edit in word, only the view option is available..May you help me further?

    Where did you download the Office Mac for University?
    Did you activate the Office application?
    Did you get any error message?

    Your Office account at https://portal.office.com should provide detailed information.

    Also/alternatively, you can check with your university IT support which version you are allowed to use.

    Some educational institutions only offer the web-based versions of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
