Regarding SharePoint 2019 On Premise ECB and Command Bar

Hi there,

I have a questions about the page in the Site Pages Library and the page is MODERN PAGE. We could create a pages for certain purpose and make it as a Homepage as shown below. Several users grant a SITE OWNER permission and these users can manage their department site. Based on this situation, we don't want to any page can be MADE HOMEPAGE. We want to HIDE the <MAKE HOMEPAGE> in the ECB Menu and Command Bar or We could control it by permission.

Hi @SHUO .H ,

Per my test, you could uncheck "Manage Web Site" site permission to hide Make homepage option.

1.Copy Full Control permission level
Site Settings > Site permissions > Permission Levels > click Full Control > Copy permission level

2.Uncheck Manage Web Site

3.Grant user permission
