Teams disconnects, it's fine after reconnecting vpn.

I hope some can help with this because I'm baffled.

I'm working with a user whose Teams disconnects after about 10 minutes, it gives the yellow triangle with a exclamation point. And it works fine up until that point. It does no good to sign out of Teams and sign in again, and quitting and restarting doesn't help either. Everything else seems fine: Outlook is connected and email comes in, I can ping the workstation and it seems to be connected to the network.

What does help is if the user disconnects from the vpn and then reconnects again, then Teams will be fine for the rest of the day. And the next day, when the computer is restarted, it's the same thing. Teams drops after 10 minutes, she reconnects to the vpn, and then it's fine for the day.

I tried clearing the Teams cache and reinstalling Teams, also updated the wifi driver and ran a repair on the vpn software but I'm not sure where to look. Nobody else in the very large company has this problem that I'm aware of. I would reimage the workstation if I thought it would fix the problem but am trying to save unnecessary inconvenience to the user.

    Hi @Hansen, Chris ,

Can you check the network status when Teams goes offline? You can also login to Teams on web and see if that also disconnects at the same time.
If it also disconnected, then I guess it is a network problem. And you can try it with another computer in the same network.

Please check the following ideas about the network issue:

    1. Reinstall network driver.
    2. Reset host file: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/how-to-reset-the-hosts-file-back-to-the-default-c2a43f9d-e176-c6f3-e4ef-3500277a6dae

Besided, if this only happens on Teams for desktop, then please try uninstalling it: https://neroblanco.co.uk/2020/01/uninstall-microsoft-teams-cleanly/
